Southern Sydney based metal fabricator, Alumac Industries, recently acquired the latest in fibre laser cut and fold equipment and requested supporting content.
Overview
With the arrival of a new Baykal BLS-NEO fibre laser cutting machine, a site refresh and new content was required. The addition of a new blog and several new supportive pages created starting in February 2022 have already had a positive impact on website growth.
What we did
We researched, wrote and curated a variety of supporting information and images for the new fibre laser cut services and sheet metal¹. With a key focus on end-to-end in-house metal fabrication including:
- Design
- Modelling
- Laser cutting
- Sheet metal and material capabilities
We also built a specific Google Ads campaign to support the organic content and improve the user experience. The site, although aged, featured minimal written content.
How we did it
Research, research, research. The Yard sourced factual information regarding the materials, equipment and business to write customer-focused content that offers a comprehensive overview of the products and services available at Alumac Industries.
Utilising the new content and publishing across Google My Business also positively boosted organic traffic and enquiries.
Challenges
The business name and URL include ‘Alu’ however Alumac Industries handles a full range of metal types. Already ranking well for aluminium fabrication related terms, the challenge was to boost the visibility of the other metals and sheet metal they work with, including brass, copper and mild steel.
To address this challenge, comprehensive supporting information regarding the other metal types was researched and created.
Result
With regular monthly content additions and maintenance of existing content, the site impressions and traffic has been growing with using content as the only tool. This demonstrates the power of useful and informative content, and has resulted in more enquiries.
Summary
Using only well written and structured metal and fabrication equipment related content, the business has enjoyed more new enquiries for their new service offering, fibre laser cut and fold.
